Chocolate Grille Badges (for charity)

Post by Ferry Man »

You may have seen mention of some DDK chocolate grille badges.
I produced those for a Christmas Card but I have plenty left over (about 300!) and in conjunction with Barry we'd like to offer them for a charitable donation.
They are milk chocolate and have been freshly made in the UK (by the last chocolate coin producer in this fine nation).
They are the size of a grille badge. So, big.
The offer is for half a dozen badges per donation. Six yummy chocolates. :)

All the funds raised will go to the MacMillan Cancer Relief Charity. MacMillan help improve the lives of people affected by cancer.
They provide practical, medical, emotional and financial support and campaign for better cancer care. They are reliant upon voluntary donations for 99% of their income.
Don't forget DDK has already raised over £23,000 for this cause.

I will supply jiffy envelopes, pack the chocolates, label them, ship the goods out and pay the postage. I’ll even cover any fees deducted by PayPal. All you’ve got to do is give generously. Everything given goes to the charity. So please be magnanimous. It’s a worthy cause.

The 6 chocolate grille badges are available for a minimum donation of £10. Apologies to those overseas but this offer is for UK deliveries only.
There are two ways to pay. Most people like the ease of settling with PayPal so you can do that. Or you can send a cheque. Credit card payments cannot be accepted.
If you wish to settle by PayPal then forward monies to me: prmadden 'at' btinternet “dot” com (you can guess how that email address should be properly typed).
If you wish to pay by cheque make it out to Paul Madden and send to: Hart Press, Unit 11-13, Redfields Park, Fleet, Hampshire, GU52 0RD.
Kindly make payments through me. It’s easier for you and we can keep track of who’s paid and what the overall total is.
Once all the monies are in I will make out one total cheque to MacMillan and Barry will present it on behalf of DDK. We’ll donate in the most tax efficient way (Gift Aid).
For either payment method it is important that you ensure you advise your name (and forum user name if you have one) along with the delivery address. The chocolates will be sent by Royal Mail. Hopefully they will survive the postal system in good condition but I cannot guarantee they won't get broken. Don't worry, you're going to eat them anyway.
Offer subject to availability, when they're gone, they're gone.

Thanks for your generosity everyone.
I've already shipped about 15 packs of coins.
As usual with DDK, people have been very generous.
Most donations are well above the guide price, including one old friend (who wishes to remain anonymous) pledging £50.

Please do give to this worthy cause.
£10 is all it takes. Help our charity appeal and stuff your face.
