Targa Florio 1973 - 'New' footage

There's a guy I met a few years ago in Palermo who can be classed as the world's number 1 Targa Florio nut.
He and I have been sharing archive footage for a while... And he's just unearthed some great new footage of the '73 running.
You don't need to speak French to enjoy these :wink:

The new in-car footage is great, any idea which 911 entry it was James?

Any footage of the practice is great to watch, it's when you see cars coming the other way you begin to realise the risks these guys were taking, not to mention the people strolling around in the towns and the horse, carts and donkeys on the road in the country. Great stuff!

Porsche Club Romand entry - Yellow RS #113 (911 360 0960), driven by Peter Zbinden and Mario Ilotte.

These are great clips.
That RS is really fast, I'm most impressed.

The third Vid is well worth looking at as the last 3 mins are REALY good.

Cannot believe how these races were with the public on the same road!
