Offhand it was about 20 people. We don't have an number limit so we'll see on the day. I'm expecting some not to be able to make it plus some last minute people turning up on the day.
Thanks for organising Ian . . . it really was special. Ivan was fabulous and what a great way to have earnt a living. I could have listened to him for a month without distraction.
My brother pointed out Ivan’s you tube channel yesterday and I’ve been binging since.
What a cracking old boy (80!!) and still blasting along through life.
Channel is called Ivan’s Shed. He started it a couple of years ago but then stopped and it’s restarted a couple of months ago with his grandson doing the filming.
What a great channel. Welding and bending the mini crank!!

Yep I’m an absolute fan - could listen to him all day.
Best quote for me so far was when he was talking about using syringes to prime the carbs he said “I’ve got a load of these lying around from when I had the throat cancer”
Loved the 2 cylinder mini engine but his lotus was my fave - he flew along in that
The simple things you see are all complicated
I look pretty young but I'm just backdated yeah
