I just sit here in the attic all day long, looking at the lovely motor cars.

nice hot-rod ... although it is not really an 'S' anymore apart from it's chassis number . Light weight interior & 2.7RS spec motor is just the kind of car I'd like to build , although I'd add some rs arches & a cage + for me I'd want LHD as I prefer it.
often tried to work out how much it would cost to build a hot-rod to that spec using a base 'T' chassis.

Probably more than giving this fella £35k for his car and adding the arches and wheels youself.hot66 wrote: often tried to work out how much it would cost to build a hot-rod to that spec using a base 'T' chassis.

Then just pop a ducktail on the back, fiddle around with the vin plate a bit and get Bonhams to sell it on for you.

That car was for sale last year for slightly less by a private seller.
Interesting the car is described as 'british racing green'.
Must be my crappy monitor.
Regards
Mike

It was around 35k last year when it was photographed outside a very nice house and double garage (I assumed by a private seller but you never know what people get up to to photo/sell their cars). '2.7 spec engine', non matching numbers with 6 and 7 inch wheels as I recall with no sign of a VIN plate. Did not sell quickly.

If the same level of accuracy used when describing the interior ("Includes 'RS' lightweight interior and seats") also applies to the engine, who knows what the actual spec is ...
For a start it's equipped with a later fan/housing.

Assuming its the same one... The viper green car was up for sale very recently in Sunderland ( I think ) for much less than the asking price. - I missed out on it by about 1 day....left4dead wrote:Sold a few years back ('07) through Classic Chrome in Wandsworth (?) who were asking 35k:
