I reckon the classic car market is still in the doldrums. Not much seems to have sold on this forum unless vendors have forgotten to tell the rest of us
You would need to be a real Porsche nut to buy at that sort of price as 911's in general have been over hyped for far to long. However, the vendor just needs ONE enthusiast to make that sale and I truly wish them well !

But ------ if you take your £ 50K down to Bonhams at the Goodwood Revival in a couple of weeks you could bag BOTH of these for the same money ! :bom:

911's have been over hyped for far too long?

By who? Most of the sportscar experts, enthusiasts and general public in the world? At that point it no longer becomes 'hype' but 'reality' :P

If I had 50k I'd rather have one mint 911 than those two above every minute of every day

:)

Just a note on this one - I believe it is going in the Coys auction 3/4 September.

FYI this sold under the hammer at 44K in the Coys auction. Once all the Coys commission and add-ons were totted up the total price to the buyer was 52K.
