I reckon the classic car market is still in the doldrums. Not much seems to have sold on this forum unless vendors have forgotten to tell the rest of us
You would need to be a real Porsche nut to buy at that sort of price as 911's in general have been over hyped for far to long. However, the vendor just needs ONE enthusiast to make that sale and I truly wish them well !
But ------ if you take your £ 50K down to Bonhams at the Goodwood Revival in a couple of weeks you could bag BOTH of these for the same money !
1970 FERRARI 365 GT 2+2 est. £30-35k
With the change take home a lovely
1979 PORSCHE 924 GT CARRERA FACTORY PROTOTYPE est. £ 18.5-22.5

911's have been over hyped for far too long?
By who? Most of the sportscar experts, enthusiasts and general public in the world? At that point it no longer becomes 'hype' but 'reality'
If I had 50k I'd rather have one mint 911 than those two above every minute of every day
