Hi All
I thought I had managed to sell a 912 once , a really rather good one , right up to the point the guy called back saying his wife didn't approve ... Bill.

Oh and a good friend has a 356 that his partner refers to as his funny old car , and a 911 she doesn't even know about as he knows she wouldn't like it.

I knew a guy some years ago who built a new roadbike (pushbike) that he bought frame and components for and built up in the loft it was in exactly the same colour as his existing bike so his wife wouldn't know he'd bought a new one ( as he was shite scared of her ) when he finished building it (in the loft) he brought it down and kept it in the same place as his previous one (which he sold) same place/same colour so she wouldn't notice !!!!!
What a t055er !

my wife is rather pleased that my 2nd 911 (73 RS clone) looks just the same as my first one (996 GT3 RS). That's so that her friends and family won't know we've got two 911s! Unfortunately the slate gray 964 really blows it!

It's ok though as the 964 is for medicinal purposes. I need an auto while my foot heals!
