recommend me a book - not to read

Post by abm914 »

Following James's post re book recommendations, thought it would be interesting in having a post on what not to read.

Anyone have comments on books that you've read and then thought that's 2 days/1 week/etc, of my life that I'll never get back, or books that were so incredibly dreadful that you never finished reading them?

My favourite hateful book is Ludwig by Leslie Kenton.
Out of print hopefully but used copies available on Amazon for 1p. Still overpriced I reckon......

Anyone have anything else?

dont read many books, but i'd like to nominate any of the recent editions of evo magazine which seems to have completely gone off the rails and turned into "max power for 35yr old's".. still, frees up £5 a month for me to spend on other things

  Have to agree with you "smallspeed"! I was a real fan of Evo for years, but have lost interest over recent months. Whereas Classic & Sports Car and Octane continue to be great every month...

Maybe I'm just getting older...
