JW doing what he does best in his 911!

...and you thought it was only 2CVs that cornered on their door handles!

After my little off in the Lola, I marshalled on sunday at the top of the hill.

Was it ever a busy day with nutter drivers that actually make Jonathan look sane.

The swarm of Porsche's were so entertaining I swear one 911 came hard into Fallow (true 90 deg left) with the inside REAR wheeel in the air, flat in the middle, and 'Jonathan style' front inside wheel looking very very redundant in the proceedings,

If you are reading this you are an orange all-over 'RSR', dual driven.

Great to watch indeed.

Then there was the delightful white R replica that looked 'he's off!' right at the start of Fallow, all locked up with one way to go; straight on.

He dug himself out (thank god, so I didn't have to go and help) parked up off track and took a bow to his adoring class-mates who seemed to find the poor fellows fright highly entertaining.

True hillclimb stuff, I feel proud to be part of it for so long.

Certainly made me want to drop the Lola and join in with the Bitza, but you are all too fast. :alien:

Unfortunately I was up at museum and only saw the top of his car down at fallow on this run, but as you say truly committed, and totally sideways!

I note that he has the wing mirror correctly angled so that he can monitor how much lift he's getting on that rear wheel

Driven by David Chivers from Trowbridge, and listed as 3000cc, according to the programme. :)

Luckily you can only see my roof... I haven't washed it in a 1000 miles! :)

If you would like this is a link to the picture 1600 pixels wide, bit better for a wallpaper :)
