Computer screen query

Post by M Delaney »

Maybe someone can help me here...
I attached a PC monitor to my laptop,
but it's acting like one large screen, with only
the wallpaper showinging on the new PC screen,
and all the action on the laptop... is there some way I
can adjust to get the same thing on both screens?

Thanks...

Try pressing the FN button and F5 - well its F5 on my laptop - should have a little screen symbol on it. This should cycle the screens between laptop only, laptop & monitor, and monitor only.

Ok...I RTFM, and apparently <Fn><F8> does it...but now I only have an image on the larger monitor!
Oh well... better than nothing!

Right click on your desktop and view properties. Sounds like you've got two monitors assigned to it, it should be self explanatory then.
