I am mentioning this car for a friend in the US , mainly as many forum users are both appreciative and in many cases devotees of other marques -

I feel this car is a little more specialised than a volvo estate -but if you feel the need to lambast its presence, or comment on its non porsche status please do so by PM .

the car is a 58 morgan 4/4 series 2 $55k invested in ground up resto/build
.
Chassis# A324 built on the original 30K mile frame with added engine bay
diagonal braces. New Plus 4 sub frame with thick wall tube inserts and 1 1/2"
chassis drop. Upgraded steering with Thompson rods. Front suspension - Plus 8
stub axles, special offset front hubs, decamber plates providing 1/2 degree
negative camber. Suzuki shocks in front. Rear has Spax adjustable tube shock
conversion.

140bhp, 1700cc Ford Kent engine built on 711M block. Has Webers, custom
exhaust header and oil cooler. Rebuilt T9 5 speed trans with Escort Mexico alloy
bellhousing, Tilton hydraulic center release bearing and stronger MG
semi-floating rear axle with 3.9 ratio. Dual circuit brakes, ATE front calipers with
cross drilled slotted rotors, 10 inch rear drums, 5 1/2 inch reverse rim original
style round hole wheels with 205/60/15 Yokohama tires. Has gas tank
stoneguard, "upside down" fuel cut-off, Aston internal locking polished alloy roller
gas cap, external electrical cut-off, thick core radiator and electric fan.

Body was completely rebuilt with new wood, sheet metal fenders widened to suit
wide track chassis, steel tube scuttle hoop, powder coated firewall, alloy floors,
hood fitted with carb air scoop, top louvers added, louvered spare wheel closing
panel, Alfa Spider roll bar, custom pillars increasing windshield rake. New Black
leather Lawrencetune bucket seats, Moto Lita wood rim wheel and refurbished
original cream face guages set in Supersport style dash.

As I said, my friend spent upwards of $55k restoring it. He realizes he won't recoup all the money spent but would like to get $45K for it, which may not be realistic in today's market, I don't know as I'm not familiar with Morgans and their pricing. I'd say if ANY interest, hit me with a serious offer and we'll see where it goes. I do know, money wasn't an object when he built it as he had planned on going vintage racing with it and wanted it to retain the classic Morgan look and character while utilizing the best mechanical components to make it competitive on the track. The pictures don't do it justice!! Although not painted original Morgan colors, it's absolutely stunning in real life!!! Body's painted Porsche Signal Yellow and fenders are done in Jaguar Indigo Blue. It was definitely a nut and bolt restoration as you can see in the pix and not driven since completion.

worth throwing out to the world -

these are just simple images - a full and comprehensive picture file can be provided to any interested parties - etc.
it is probably worth saying that I am not acting as a broker, taking commision or doing anything other than a favour for a friend . The car is in California and shipping can be arranged easily - it qualify for a very low vat threshold of 5% (it may actually be exempt- but i would need to confirm this)
