New batch of DDK Grille badges available now.

Post by Ferry Man »

Thank you to everyone who expressed an interest in obtaining a DDK grille badge.
You’ve made it possible for me to commission a new batch and those are now ready for despatch.
Sadly with inflation and the poor exchange rate there’s a very modest increase in cost over the 2006 prices.
The badges now cost £27 + £6 for next-day delivery. A total of £33 (formerly £30).
Overseas orders can expect the same cost but with no guarantee of next-day delivery.
UK deliveries will be sent via Initial CityLink and require a signature. It may help to indicate a work address (where someone will be there to accept) or, if you wish, I can send by straightforward Royal Mail post (but then won’t be able to track the consignment in case of any difficulties).

PLEASE NOTE.
As explained, this initiative has been possible with the intent of prospective purchasers.
Therefore I will offer this batch to the people named below first.
If you’re listed you are not obliged to buy but kindly let me know if you’ve changed your mind.
I will attempt to clear this list before selling remaining badges.
However there are only 50 badges available and by my reckoning these potential buyers mean we’re close to clearing out supplies.

Installation advice (thanks go to James, Hot66): Please be careful when fitting them, don't keep winding in the threaded bar so it pushes against the back of the badge causing the mounts to snap off. Try locking the threaded bar into the badge first, then just tighten up using the supplied nuts (without the threaded bar turning). Finger tight will probably suffice to secure them to the grille. If you over tighten with a spanner it’s possible to break them (or bend your grille). We know you’re strong, but try care and sensitivity when affixing your badge. Your warranty expires the minute I get your money.

moneys winging its way to you. sound advise about the fitting. we also advise putting something between the back of the badge and the grill to stop any marks being left on your grill when the badge is removed.

Hello Paul,

I'm not on the original list so I fully understand that I am at the back of the queue, but if you do have any left at the end I would like to order 3 please

I will wait and see if you have any available and then send payment as soon as I know?

Cheers,

Kevin

Thanks very much Paul. Just in time. Really looking forward to getting them. One will go straight on the Targa in time for the forthcoming event, one will go to a Japanese mate of mine with a very nice dark blue '73 911T coupe and one will be a spare (though tempted to see if it might fit on the grille of the 964).

Anyway, hope you can get it away quickly. Can I pay with Paypal? And if so, what email address should I use?

Cheers
