does anyone know who sells these :
Image

I know that there are some on the market but they are 100% open --too loud for street use , I'm looking for a more sporty sound than the original muffler .
I don't like the one that dansk makes , the 2 pipes are to close together ( beetle ) and the 2 pipes on the rsr muffler is to wide,
I am looking for exact the ones on the pic.

who knows where these are being sold or else made ??

thanks,

bas

I think you will find that the one you picture is part of a whole system inc the heat exchangers.

I have the 'beetle' one on my 73T/3.2 and 'open' it really can be anti social, BUT you do not have to cut the rear valance.

The best ones are with 3 outlets, and the 2 beetle one are capped-off to silence the car to near stock levels out of the third side exit pipe.

Turbo Thomas builds them, see here
http://www.turbothomas.com/

and here

I think he makes them to order so tell him what you want, how far apart the tips, etc and I sure he build it to a custom spec.

James 'Easylife' has a turbo thomas 2 in 3 out stainless box on his 911, it sounds lovely without having that typical stainless tinny sound. Any of the 3 outlets can be capped on his custom built box.
I think there are some pics of it on the 'Midland Breakfast Club' website

The rear Liezstritch (spelling!) 2-in and 3 -out silencer after 16 years of faithful abuse is almost done for.
Is there a 'group buy' chance here?

Capping the Beetle Pipes for the road/early hours is a real advantage.

Has a new 'DDK' phrase been born in Beetle Pipes?! :albino:

I`ve been thinking about fitting a muffler like this for a while but not actually getting round to it. M&K i the States do them, Mike Usikin has one fitted.

But I think this would be a quite expensive option at the moment. Looks like Turbo Thomas would be a good idea, British craftmanship and all that.

And to cap it off, these are neat.

I have tryed tro import the m&k muffler as well from the states but it came out way to expensive at the end.

I also would like to have the 2in 3 out muffler but still I think the 2 pipes from the above pics are to close together for my taste.
i have emailed turbo thomas but no reply yet.
Is turbo thomas his forum name here as well ?

yes a group buy

He's usually good on email, just give him a call otherwise. I've had two exhaust systems of him in the past and have been very pleased with the service and product. Would defo recommend. Keep it in the UK!
