DDK - Die Deutschen Klassiker

Very wet, slippery conditions at Wiscombe Park on Sunday. Torrential rain in the morning eased off by lunch time, but some parts of the track seemed to get more greasy as it dried out in the afternoon.

Poor old Wayne (rhdracer) had fuel problems with his 3.0 litre SC engined 914/6 in practice, and didn't make the timed runs, but Dave Chivers (chaos) pulled off a major upset by beating the current Champion David Hilton by over 0.8 sec with a display of fast smooth driving.
Well done Chaos!

Fastest time of the day was set by John Forsyth in a Cosworth FI engined Pilbeam MP58 on 43.53 secs

Despite the weather, it was a great day's sport, and all of the Porsche entries went home in one piece - even if one wasn't working..........

Congrats JW! Sorry didn't make it but urgent magazine work and the look of torrential rain kinda swayed my decision not to venture over the Tamar!

Nevermind, have 3 weeks to try!

That will learn me for putting in a stock as a rock motor on CIS in search of reliability!
