porsche magazines?

Post by andy rowe »

are there any porsche mags out there that only feature pre 73 cars?
the reason being i love old porsches, dont get me wrong i enjoy 911 and porsche world and total 911 and gt porsche mag but they never seem to feature enough pre 73 cars,i buy ultra vw magazine which do have coverage of shows in the usa and some stunning 912s and 356s but im not that interested in the modern stuff, way out of my price range.

There's no exclusive pre 75 mag and I very much doubt it would ever prove viable. I think on balance we've got some great mags and the classic content seems to grow with the demand.

Andy

Several of the usual mags have done very comprehensive features on the pre 74 cars. If you can get yours hands on back copies you can get an idea on the line up through the years.

The books you might want to read will depend on what your priorities are

Purchase advice
Mechanical differences
Racing pedigree
Values
Originality
Verification of chassis/engine/gearbox/colour codes.

Of course you can ask away here and there will be someone to give you info on just about anything to do with all the early cars, not just the 911.

Regards
Mike
