Exceptional, sympathetically restored original car…this is the best way to describe this car. It is the right color with the right look. A Southern California enthusiast purchased this car from a PCA member about 5 years ago. The original owner spent nearly $20,000 just on the paint. The next owner spent over $5,000 with Autos International restoring the interior. It was then serviced and gone through but not driven much. He then sold it to his good friend who is the current owner.

At this point, the current owner further enhanced the car by making it a great touring Porsche. He had the car carefully inspected by a Porsche mechanic to make sure everything was in order. And, of course, it was. In fact, several mechanics who have worked on this car have commented on how original and right the car is. I saw this car for the first time about 5 years ago and I too quickly saw that this car was something special.

Recently, some new Michelin Pilot tires were installed and the car was fully corner balanced for optimal handling and touring. NOS factory air-conditioning was installed to make those long summer drives more enjoyable. Also, rare NOS factory European “through-the-grill” fog lights were installed. The final touch was some properly restored factory 7” Fuchs. Everything done to this car was with Porsche parts and with the intention of making this car more enjoyable and correct.

The houndstooth leather seats were restored by Autos International which really make the car look fantastic. Plus, they are extremely comfortable on those long drives. The whole interior is as it should be. The dash looks great with no cracks and the carpet looks like new. The targa top (restored by Brown from Colorado) is in outstanding condition and doesn’t look like it has ever been folded up.

This car will not disappoint any enthusiast or collector. It comes complete with the original owner’s manual, tool kit, and keys.
