Can anyone advise on how to strengthen the rear steel arms on a swb stage rally car.

me too.

I have very good reason to believe there is a cut'n shut done to install internal bracing which cannot be easily detected by scrutes..

That's my info too - but don't see that scruts would object to external strengthening ??
(Look at bars welded to English axles etc etc !)

Yes, maybe.

The issue is probably proving period mods..Escorts had almost anything done..ask me how I know this!
