Franz Xaver Reimspieß' 1952 design for the Porsche crest. Design prodigy Reimspieß probably also penned the first iteration of the VW logo in 1936

Is that the ex Brian Burrows 964? I can’t remember if that had front ducts or not….

It was one of those unexpected pivotal points in life - at a VW show with friends and Brian turned up with his white one with a few hundred miles on it, was coaxed into starting it and gave it some beans for us. 30 years later I have a 964…

Another one of those cars no one really got at the time so could be had fairly cheap.

Doesn’t seem to happen any more.

Brian's a good friend of mine, if I remember correctly his car had about 45 miles on the clock and he sold it as he told me ( in typical Brian understated fashion ) "to that American comedian bloke". ( Jerry Sienfield )
