Nice! Haven't seen you either of you guys in yonks. Must find a way of finishing work early enough to do one of the Fairmiles this summer.

silverone and I at Porsche Experience Centre on Wednesday with our ‘72s amongst all the 992s, SUVs and Taycans of every description. Plenty of compliments from customers and instructors alike, both young and old. Dan even took his E out on track for a 100% analog, proper workout on a warm day - power steering in your biceps and shoulders!

I took a '68 911 there a few years ago and the instructor said it was the first early 911 he'd ever been in. His previous earliest experience was in a 996...

That doesn’t seem unreasonable keith, bearing in mind the early cars are likely 20 years older than him/her.

When you were in your 20s, how many cars from the 1930’s had you been in? (Excluding the fact that you were a motoring journalist)

I took my son last year for some instruction. A safe place for him to learn the car. Let’s face it. He calls it “his car” already !

I love Rod Emory's workmanship but sometimes I feel that some mods are just wrong... IMHO, of course!
