My wife's got an automotive type toy, well it looks a bit like a shock absorber and sounds like an electric fuel pump

My wife's 'shock absorber' must come from an H2 Hummer as it's really long (for off road use i presume), thick bore (able to take some serious manhandling i guess) and gloss black (easier to keep clean under wet conditions maybe) and really quite rare as she keeps telling me i'll never match it!
