Are there any mounting points for a rear seatbelt already provided in a 1973 911?

I would like to install two point lap belts.

There will be mountig points for lap belts only un the carpet, if you want inertia's you'll have to do some bodging yourself

Thanks for the prompt answers, I'll have a look under the carpet.

Any idea where to get the belts from?

you don't need to lift / remove the carpets ... use a long needle / spike & use it to poke through the carpet until you find the threaded hole.

To give you a rough idea where to poke... but if there were no belts there, there will be a plastic blanking plug which will need removing first.

and you could try here for the belts....

Can anyone tell me what size bolt fits the rear mounting points please?

the mounting points look the same as a IB or later air cooled porsche and the replacement bolts for the rear of my 964 were only about £1 each from an OPC.. might be worth getting the correct bolts from them

they're not standard pitch (metric fine i think) and are around M16, plus being seatbelt bolts they're supposed to be 10.1 grade or higher i think?..
