Hi Paul,

Incredible pictures, I've really enjoyed looking through them, you could put on another ten pages of them for me....!

The RS that you show is the Blutorange 356speed car, and the guy you were talking to is Claude, who has a somewhat strange way of doing business. I enclose a quote from his last e-mail to me yesterday.
Hello,
That is a real RS 2,7, with certificat, the chassis number is ???
For what you need the chassis Nr. and the other ???
When you buy the car, you receive this number.

Best regards
Claude
So, as the only person I have contact with who has actually seen this car, would you mind if I PM'd you about it? Don't want to bogart your thread.

Asking price on this one? 250k Euros and it could be yours.

I am almost sure it was for sale on mobile.de in july 2007. Directly from the 1st owner, with 85229 kms. And the price was.......

139.000 € !!

Good deal for the dealer, if someone buy it at the asking price...
I still have the phone number from the 1st owner, if any needs...

Paul - brilliant pictures and a useful reference for 'detail' :)

Can you provide any information on the sets of stopwatches shown on Page 1 as I need / want to fit timing gear to my car along with a trip meter.

Sorry guys, I can't recall the name of the dealer that was selling the rally timers.
Mike did have a full show catalogue, he might have a list of traders?
Mind you there was a lot of traders.
My recollection is they were located in the far corner of Hall 8. Not that that's any help.

Ok, been through the catalogue and the only one I can find in hall 8 that fits the bill are these people:

http://www.vhclassics.de/

If it's not actually them, I'm sure they would know who's stand it was if you sent them a picture.
Hope this is of some help and do let us know how you get on.
cheers, Mike.
