Glad it was spotted before any major (?) damage was done ...

Car still looks great. What caused the air filter fire?

Carb rebuilt and all back together...Had an issue fitting the new Air filters (seem abit bigger than the originals) they started to bow so ordered a new set of Weber rain hats...After three incorrect orders, I eventually received the correct weber base plates and fitted with drilled wing nuts and "locking" springs.

I could see them as an experiment in aerodynamics from 1970.....

But I’m afraid I’m also not wild on the look. Gary can you get my coat as well please

It's a bit like Jack Olsen's rear wing that he fits for track use - it's probably good for what it is designed to do but doesn't look the nicest.

I never like to post negatively but can you grab my coat too?

But it’s an outlaw, so the only one who is right is Chris. Nothing else matters!

The voice of reason...Thanks Tim, I owe you that tenner :) :)

No offense taken guys, its all part of the fun. I'll try them for abit (I like the idea of neon orange) and remove when get I bored of them.....Would love to test to see if they actually offer any benefit though. The dream would be that they offer some balance to the rear weight bias of the ModRod. Though my guess is they probably don't offer much unless under ideal track conditions
