Hi,

Normally we recomend a good 10w-50 or 15w-50 semi synthetic minimum, if the engine is not too hard used and in good shape then a 10w-40 is also suitable.

Cheers

Guy.

Always wanted one of these, jealous.

Is it defo 15w-30 and not 15w-40 you are using?

Cheers

Probably 15-40 I was just guessing at my computer and not checking.

15w-40 is more common, with the mileage you could give it better protection by using a 10w-40 semi synthetic, these are still 100% mineral based but offer better cold start/flow, anitwear/detergents etc.

Hello, Oilman..

I'd be inetrested in your view on a high revving full race 2L, big cams, with good oil cooling, and careful warming etc..
What shoud we use.?
how often to change it?

Also 901 box, gets hottish, with LSD..

Kind regards
David
