Loss of power
I am in the process of trying to get my 69 'T' 2.0l on Webers running properly after a long lay-off. It starts well and idles beautifully, but as soon as the revs are increased to around 4000 (while standing) they suddenly die away without closing the throttle after 10-15 secs. Same when under load. I have a Marelli distributor and a Facet cylinder pump which appear to be working. Any one come across this before please?

I had a similar problem last year,
Have you checked the flow rate of fuel from the fuel pump?
That the tank and filter gauze is clean?
That all the flexible hoses haven't degraded and are collapsing underload?
That there is fuel in the carbs chambers and that there is no stagnant petrol in their internals?
It drove me mad for a couple of months, changing the fuel lines and switching from high octane unleaded to standard unleaded seamed to do the trick.
