What a simply fabulous ending to a fabulous project. Many thanks to you Mike, your family and Neil for putting on a spectacular unveiling, and oh that exhaust note :-)

Best of luck with whatever you do next.

A really great day (apart from breaking my car slightly on the way there!), lots of bright coloured pork to look at, an OTT launch (Mike's words) that was more than fitting and a great finale for the journey!!

The cream on the cake was the drive by's though.....uber cool! 8) 8) 8)

Hope the new owner drives the nuts out of it......it deserves it!

Wonder what the next project will be? Think it needs to be at least 7 years to complete.....

Just as everybody has said,an exceptional, unique day.
A massive thanks to Mike, Neil and the team for this.

As brilliant as all the photo's of this car are, there is no way they do it the justice it deserves. It needs to be seen to appreciate the work these guys have put into it.
It is a total one off, and the new owner is one lucky chappie.
Regards,
Dougie

What on earth can I say!!!!!

"How fantastic was that" doesn't seem to come anywhere near trying to express what I feel, amazing, sensational
wonderful just doesn't work, so I suppose "fffuck" does seem to sum it up, sorry about that! Great video James, thanks.

3 elements made that day so special and the car was only one of them. The second was the weather, how incredible
was it being the best day of the year so far so, special DDK'er looking down on us, must be!

The third element is obviously you guy's my fellow DDK'ers. I can't think of a nicer bunch of people I would rather
be with, there is something about these cars that seems to bring out something in their owners, all I know is I'm lucky
to have had you all there on what obviously was a very special day for me, not only celebrating the finish of the build
with me but saying goodbye to it as well. Thank you all so much for coming.

I hope not to be car less for too long but in the meantime I'm carrying on watching and contributing to the forum if
you don't mind because you all are the nicest of people.

cheers, Mike

What? Even Bootsy? Surely some mistake... :drunken:

Can't wait to see what you come up with next, Mike. The only trouble is, I'll be 64 by the time the next one's finished.

Well done, though. Your car and your dedication – along with Neil's incredible knowledge – are truly an inspiration. 8)

Inspirational is indeed a good word because that effort to realise the car and fight all the mountains and difficulties it must have presented does make you think when you have a small miss-hap as I had going home after it of a very oily nature.

Now Mike and Co have had a bit of practice at realising the impossible, we certainly do all I'm sure look forward to the next one.
Straight after the Targa, so you have had a bit of a rest, then get stuck into the next. :)

I never got the chance to shake hands with Mike and say thanks, the day was certainly a buzz.
Maybe next time at Special Day # 2 where we can celebrated KS's birthday too!

I found the walk-about the Bainbridge shop a treat too, and I thought this sums Neil up:
