My new project.........

Post by Mike »

Ah... so you've noticed the new avatar

Well couldn't join you all in Scotland as I had sold my car, it had all started with me posting a wanted thread on the Early 911 Registry in the States, which within 24 hours had seen me inundated with hot rods and IROC cars but then a gem leaped out the screen at me. Overnight the owner sent me 42 photographs and the next day Neil Bainbridge and I jumped on a plane for Arizona.

Check out the hire car, 500hp Hertz Shelby Mustang special edition

More later.......

Nice.... very nice..

Those Hertz Orginal motors in the 60's are getting good bucks now..

Orgnialy made for Hertz so the public can hire a car for the weekend and go racing with it....!!! certainly not what's in todays small print hire contract..

So it's great to see Ford have got togeather with Hertz to do another car.. Nice pic's Mike.. Great news about the adventure with the new car.. 8)

Porsche that is..

I didn't tell 'em Mike. Honest.
Not a word from me.
Oh, how they tortured me. It was awful.
I never broke.
Never.
Just my rank and number. Nothing more.

It's not Jim Calzia's car then, since you were in Arizona.
Hmm... the mystery... the excitement... the queue of DDKers hoping to blag a ride!

May be onto something.
Mike, did the project start life as this, perchance, and now currently have bare silver flanks?
