911 fan kit

Hi,

Anyone have any thoughts on installing one of these kits from bergmannvw on an outlaw project? It is specific for a 356/912, needs to be installed with an external oil cooler...

I think it looks great and quite outlaw

As long as it performs as good as the standard system and you think it's worth the price just for a look, go for it

I used the sharpbuilt Porsche fan kit from Aussie on my VW.

But some reseach done by Hi-Po Vw engine builders have shown they don't cool as well as 'stock' cooling due to the lack of directional fins within the shroud. You can end up over cooling one part of the engine & not the other.

Remember VW / Porsche spent a lot of time & money developing the stock systems.

Agree that porsche/vw R&D department is probably better than mine...

Its alot of dollar just to see the fan!
