As my solex's have been sent off to get rebuilt - i thought i might treat myself to some new tools to set them up with once i get them back.

Does anyone know of any uk supplier of the P78 float tool.

What is the best type of tool for balancing the solex 40's - again, anyone in the uk?

Nope and yes.

Nope means a tell call to Stoddards to buy the float and the vial to check the levels and the amount the accelerator pump produces..

As for the air mass tool then check out some of the VW stores in the UK I think I got mine from Big boys toys or some VW store at the Volks Show a few years back about £30 check out ebay there must be on there...
