Favourite photo of your car?

Post by Gary71 »

Following my trip out with a Ferrari owning friend the other day, one of the pictures I took was this one:

This is now my favourite picture of my own car and wondered what is yours? :)

Great idea for a thread.

Not really sure of mine, haven't had a chance to take some good ones of the silver one yet so in the meantime a couple I like of the Bumble Bee as it is now and how it used to be...

tough choice. too many to choose from. but if i discount the ones taken by Jamie Lipman then that narrows the choice down somewhat.

always liked this picture of my 912 that a friend took when we were at Donington Park. he used a filter which made the picture look like it could have been taken in the 60s 8)

This one apparently to be used on front cover of a soon to be published AA guide book about
great European driving routes (then repeated in the Targa Florio chapter).

Here's mine - taken on the Northern run last year

Out of interest, is there an opportunity here for photographers - I'd love to have one of those speeding shots of my car - I don't know if it makes economic sense but on some sort of gathering if a professional photographer came along he might be able to make a bit doing photos of peoples cars to sell to them.

If I'm going over old ground I apologise - I'd pay for a good photo of my car though - of the sort of style you see in the car mags. By tying it in to some sort of event it would be worth the photographers while (or maybe not depending on how tight us ddk lot are)
The simple things you see are all complicated
I look pretty young but I'm just backdated yeah

The panning / speeding shots are pretty easy, and I'm no professional! :)

I'm willing to stand by the road side at the Scottish event and catch you all as you come past at nicely spaced intervals, can't promise a result, but I'll give it a go :)

My shots of Helen's sporto: (also some of my fav's)

This is still my favorite... The very first photo I saw of the car. I knew as soon as I saw the advert it was the one! :) :)

I love this shot because when I look at it, I can hear the engine and I get the feeling of driving home in the dusk of a warm summer's day and it makes me feel pretty good, no matter what's up.

The car also looks ghetto-dropped, which is also nice.
