Although many of you know the car well from the previous owner I thought I should at least post a few pictures.

Model history

The 911 seventy three & a half…

“73. 5” 911 CIS

These cars were:

Only made for the US market

Only made between Jan & July 1973
(2nd half of this model year thus 73.5)

CIS Bosh K-Jetronic fuel injection system

By January 1973 fuel injected T models changed from mechanical to CIS (Bosch K-Jetronic) injection, while cosmetically front and rear lamp rims and the horn grilles were finished in black rather than chrome.

This cae built in mid-1973 combines the early, lightweight body shape with the 2.4 litre engine, advanced Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection system and the 915 five speed gearbox to create the rare '73.5' model.

Work done

new Bosch rear light clusters and lenses
new Pirelli tyres
new driver window winder mechanism
new disks and pads all round (06)
new bumper to body seals (06)
new headliner (06)
all new oil lines (06)
Turbo lower valve covers and gaskets(06)
new Dansk stainless steel heat exchangers and exhaust (06)
engine bay re-spray (insulation removed) (06)
wheel arch re-spray (06)
engine tin ware re-spray (06)

Nice car Tom.
Shame we won't be seeing it much at the Fairmile anymore.
Will it be on show in the Highlands?

Nice car, but what's the story with the steering wheels?

No story really.

I've fitted a Prototipo - it's my wheel of choice! Also got one in the BumbleBee
