Yes it is the ex-Mr Walker Car and condition wise it will be mint as they have replaced, quote "everything below the waistline"
I see it refered to as a sweet looking motor, which it was, but having seen the post strip down pics it was f*cked. It really shouldn't have had the MOT I bought it with.
However they are real professionals, just look at the past stock list, so I'm sure it will turn out, quite literally "like new"

Surprised it was that bad. I know when having a good look around it there were areas that needed attention. Just goes to show how well 356's can hide their problems

I remember when Lee and I came to look at her - I was soooo tempted but we could see so many of the bad repairs that had been done in the past.

BUT she was a real gem with so many original bits and a lovely character - I'm really glad she's been sorted - and £38k is fair money if they've sorted everything properly.

Nice to know another one survives :-)

Steve - I've tried mailing you back, but seems to be "sitting" in my outbox. Hopefully will get to you soon - if not, then let me know and I'll try again!

Funny enough I've just a had a look this week, as I happened to be seeing a customer in Bourton!
Other than the bits which were bubbling through the paint and the sills behind the carpet, the shell was actually very straight and accident free. And no it hadn't had the front end replaced like you thought Phil! They've replaced both sills in their entirity, plus the entire floor, inner wing splash panels etc.
The only thing that bothers me is the small detail repairs which look a bit "rushed" but I'm told the body shop are going to finish all these details when it goes for paint this week.
I'll post some pics when I work out how to get them off my new phone!

( don't want to do him out of business!) it's certainly a bit different and a bit hot !!!

Drop me a mail if you want more details -
