Hello all.

To clarify, the price is £290 all inclusive of VAT.

IMHO a must-have for any early 911 in our climate: instant demisting, and you can run lightweight and larger diameter manifolds, or if you prefer, headers.

Which are also available, in mild or stainless BTW..

Kind regards
David

David,

Is this the rear or the front screens you are referring to?

Kind regards

Hi,

What is required to connect them up? Do they need to be wired via a relay or straight off of the fuse box?
I love the smell of burnt rubber and hydrocarbons in the morning, it smells of......victory.

Hello all.

Relay is defintely a good idea: switches do not like high loads, and it may be possible to use shorter runs of high-load cable by careful planning of the location of the relay(s)..I'd use two..one for each side.

Standard Rally car practice really..

Kind regards

Does anyone know how much a std screen costs ?
I've got to put my car back together, there is a chip in the screen , so new would be a good idea, but in a Targa, basically more so a summer car, is a heated one worth while. Wiring it is is no hastle to me, just from a cost basis.

Flippin 'eck that's cheap. I had a replacement top tint fitted by the RAC last year (could not nominate a supplier) and they sent the insurers a bill for £620. Plus they broke my NEW rear view mirror!

Who were the insurers?

Did you complain to them ? - in my experience those who shout loudest to the insurance co.s get the most recognition

No didn't need to, the guys ordered me a new one from OPC Sutton Coldfield. Bit of a pain having to put my old mirror on to do Classic Le Mans though. One of my guys is a high-up with the RAC, so he would have sorted it for me if I'd been given short shrift.
