Auto Upholsterers

Post by Luke »

Can anyone recommend a good quality upholsterers in the south of England?

Unfortunately Southbound are fully booked and are unable to turn around my rear seats in time, any other suggestions preferably within 100 miles of Bournemouth would be great.

They don't need to be Porsche specialists and don't require porsche specific fabric, just leather, as I want the seats done in a non-stock fashion

I can get seats redone for you !

He has just re-done a recaro sport for a fellow DDK member from his RHD 73 S, and he is currently doing my single early recaro and my pair from the 70 S, I am having these done in leather also. Send me some pics and what you want done and I will get you a quote.

He is booked up for 3 weeks at the moment and his work is of a very high standard.

Hi David,

I think you are referring to another guy (also called Alan, whom lives in near Winton) he used to do construct the interiors of the Chesil Speedsters. He did the beige seats in my old 911 S. The guy I am now using is a classically trained upholsterer whom until a year or so ago worked on antiques, he is really very good hence I am now getting 3 more seats done.

If you still need Alan’s number let me know as I still have it.
