Where to get front discs and pads please

Post by pmjt »

My friend Dave's very pretty '65 912 needs new front discs and pads - any recommendation on where to get them and how much to pay?

We might be able to get away with the discs when we get the wheels off - but pads are definitely needed

Many TIA

Peter Andrews @ Transend or Bert Gear @ Berlyn Services or Mark @ Roger Bray.

Not too expensive as I remember...

http://www.912register.co.uk/links.html bit of a rush but all numbers here via their web links...

Yes Euro's always amaze me some of the parts they can get. There seams to be a guy in the Wemberly branch who knows his 912's and seams to get some interesting stuff.. he got a an 050 disy when they had just ran out every where... called me up had it £65.. sorted.

I think from memory I matched my 912 ones with ones at my mates car parts shop with the lucas book and by going on size etc etc .. each year the brakes pass the test with flying colours on the old rolling road..

Euro's are pretty good for those bits and pieces.

btw if you know of anyone with a trade account with them you can get more things that you probably realise
