Carolyn and I are in the throes of repeating our marathon driving tasks in order to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support and have, so far, raised just over £600...with a target of £2000 by 22 April 2008 (the day I qualify as an OAP! ). That's just a couple of days before we set off for Cornwall in our 1966 912 when we will have to declare to the Cape to Cape organizers what our total amount is.

Last year on the 2007 Tour we raised £1700...with help from a number of DDK supporters.

This year we will be heading for Cap Ferret, near Bordeaux, via such little known race courses as Le Mans

And displaying our DDK badge...

We've paid the entry fee (that's our contribution) and every penny raised goes to the charity. All expenses come out of our meagre pockets!

Yep, it was the first post of this thread. I just thought I'd Zebedee ( ) it back into view as the DDK '07 Charity has just closed, ready for moving onto a fresh start for the 2008 one. Just wanted folks to be able to see how well we're doing overall.
