9" x 15 Fuchs

Post by Ferry Man »

OK, I could do with some Fuchs.
Ideally a pair of nines on the rear.
Not easy, I know but anyone got anything?
Happy to take singles.
I'm planning on re-finishing them so they don't need to be concours but do need to be good. Prefer not banded.

I'd like 7" x 15" on the fronts and possibly 8" on the rear (if I can't track down the 9" for sensible money) so if you've anything seven or eight I'd be delighted to hear from you too.
Kindly PM me.

Thanks.

Original 9x15's have become very difficult to find over the past year & those people who have them want a lot of money for them.

I was offered a couple of sets in Europe last month - I'll see if they're still available.

7s seem to also have become very hard to find. 6 and 8s seem to be ok to find.

I think I remeber Jim at Easy in Ca had a pair of 7's

but still worth calling him for the other sizes ( sort of long shot ) but he has SO much stuff I think he forgets what he has half the time..

Mention DDK as there is a DDK sticker in his shop window now. wounder who put that there

Paul

Why don't you go for minilites on the rear if you can't get the 9's at a reasonable price?

Regards

Mike,

No, sorry. I know why Minilites were used in period and the set up is authentic but I think it looks odd. "Wrong wheels there mate!".
Call me old fashioned but I'd like the same front & back.
But don't fret. I'm sometimes stupid with my money but I won't be paying £3,000 a pair. Maybe I'll end up with those polished, deep dished, slot mags after all.
