Yeah but with a '78 body and a '72 engine and running gear, we already knew it was a mongrel  .
2006 RHD 997 Carrera (but DDK remains in my heart - also now no longer)
1972 LHD 2.4T with '73 2.4T CIS motor - gone to a new DDK home
1994 RHD 993 Carrera - gone!
1968 LHD 911L - was the Wife's but now in new hands :-(

If it was my car Id go 1972 Kremer Porsche Lemans look
Is that warm ....or cold ?

I have this model here on the desk ...If I had a yellow car it would have the red decals all over it in a flash

http://www.diecastsportscar.com/LeMans/ ... orsche.jpg

Real Life ... the one driven by Fitzpatrick / Kremer
http://membres.lycos.fr/porschemini/pho ... 2/1972.htm

Or perhaps something like the yellow ST on the Autofarm site which sold a while back
Cheers
Hig

I used to have a 72 911 I drove every day... Now I have projects...
'73 911 Track car ...being put back together
'59 Conv D... refit underway...Upholstery done !!

Get back from Tuscany - what's the first thing you do? (apart from checking the builder has fitted a new ceiling in the breakfast room (it fell down the day before we went!)) - straight to the garage to survey progress - back from paint. Have some pics that I'll post tomorrow.
