brembo wrote:Darren, have these fitted in my rep,not exactly as per original,(larger one had outlet coming out on the angle), but very close....
....I've seen the discussion Dougie regarding the base of the large bottle Dougie, my guess would be these are are a slightly later variant or possibly from a different use but most certainly ATE originals....
.....sure do look good under your hood

Hopeful Mark.....but not optimistic!

Gone a bit thin on the ground to what we are used to!
.....sorry Graham, will try harder!
Picked up my fuel tank from Ben Coles yesterday who brazed on the centre fill spout and modded the cap....
....I find it always helps to have a spare early shell in the garage for test fitting....

Come on, it was only two near identical pictures! He needs to try harder than that!

Darren, the only ST i have seen with the two twin bottles is Thierry's old Kremer ST.
Lot's of great detailed pictures here.

It is Sunday, a day to be nice to mankind.
Does it matter is whatever car had these, they will look great and fit right in with the scheme of things I would think.

He did ask the question. Darren is a man of detail, hence the reply. I will get my coat.

Don't do that Dave - it's nice to see those ST pics (which were new to me).
Cheers, Richard.

....I knew you'd know!
I wonder if the bottles were used in period or a later addition.
Great photos of the Kremer ST.....other than the flares, the shell with its black/orange colour scheme is very reminiscent of my car right down to the (incorrect) rear slam panel!
I'll change mine one day!

....not on this car but it's nice to know.....
....at the outset I said this was an R/ST/RS/RSR inspired car and nothing more than a mongrel of bits.....it's refreshing to be able to do as I please and make things up as I go!
I dare say that it's stretch that has the bigger challenge with his 'Le belgique' ST build.....but then with his expert knowledge, attention to detail and stash of rare parts that he's acquired over the years, I reckon it could become one of the greatest projects ever to grace the pages of DDK
