Oh my! Some great shots.
The black and white shot of the arse end of the Giulia super is starting to grow on me.
Do like the earlier winter photo with the 911 and alfa. Compliment each other well
Anyone else chip in with photos of there own cars

I'd rather you told him he should buy his old 356A back! Only joking, I too am an Alfa fan. Best wishes, Robert

Some further pictures. Parked it next to my M5 today to give you and idea of scale, it really is a tiny car.

Took the Alfa for a run to the independent I use, my car needs a catch can fitted, the current set up has a small breather that's allowing oil to drip onto the engine which is smelly and not exactly ideal. This car drives so well, I love it. I really need to start working away and stripping the interior out, then polishing and fixing the small jobs that need doing. Some pictures from today.

Yes, bought the magazine to read about the Singer and was delighted to see the short piece on the Alfaholics car. Lovely car but bloody expensive.

I don't think it's that way round - to me the Alfa is a 'normal-sized' car - it's just that modern cars have become ridiculously large ...

Fabulous pictures as always - reminds me that I ought to make the effort to take some (decent) pictures of my car & start another Alfa thread ...

I spent an enjoyable morning at Alfaholics last week going over the 67 GTV they have there (its been off the road since '72). Some lovely cars there but the Ghibli shell in the workshop was superb!
1966 912 Karmann Coupe - polo red.
1972 914/6 GT replica - 2.7 - signal orange.
1961 Standard 217 Tractor.
2003 Boxster S.
1967 Alfa Giulia Sprint GT Veloce.

I mentioned in the past that the Alfa was pretty scruffy, so the only decent thing to do is sort it with a bare metal respray.

I intend to use it a lot more this summer and really want to have the bodywork all up to scratch, if its a long term keeper then great its all good. If not then I know I can move it on in good condition (or store it - wife losing the plot with the cars).

Car was delivered up to the body shop a couple of weeks ago and after further investigation its solid underneath and inside. No rust or any real damage to the floor.

Please excuse the bad pictures sent to me buy the garage.

What is not good is the car is probably double the weight it should be with filler and paint.

I will be ordering new panels to fix the worst areas and take some pictures along the way. So far I need:

New door skins
New Front panel / nose - mine bent and full of cataloy
Boot floor
Wheel well
Front bonnet
Boot lid - Its has a shunt in its past and again its in a poor shape and doesn't fit as well as it should
Rear panel

:(

This next one gives you an idea of the quality of the previous paint job, car was originally green and evidently had a sticker on the bonnet. They just smoothed over this with filler and then gave it some more paint. Hey presto a real s**t job.
