Had an unexpected email from Fred Hampton this morning thanking me for taking/displaying my car which he said was a nice addition to the event - he'd also made a point of coming over as I was leaving on Sunday to say that it was a lovely car & that I was welcome back any time !

Cool! And quite right, too.

Fred asked me to run my car up the hill, too – I had to point out it wasn't running yet, but it's an indication of how the event is 'loosening up'.

Indeed. Fred suggested I parked at The Castle and join in the parade

Hope to catch up soon, be good to talk about your cars too, I think you have all bases covered now and a nice little collection there!!

The collection has been reduced ( now just a 964C2 track banger and a late 356 ) by selling the 911E to Paul Stephens , so I don't think the cud could be chewed for long !! I've got the 356 bug at the moment , the C is a delight to drive.

Am at Revival Friday and Saturday , then RMA track day Donington 10th October - that's a Friday and in your neck of the woods......
