Hello everyone. I am keen to join, but less keen on the motorway schlep from London to Scotland and back which might be a bitter pill next to the fabulous roads of Scotland, notwithstanding the mileage. Has anyone looked into transporter hire for one or more cars to take that strain? Or is there a motorail that anyone is aware of?

If not, would anyone else potentially be interested if I put a few feelers out?

I did the return journey from the Highlands to Norwich last time in under 5 hours with a stop.

I drove from Cumbria to the French alps and back with 2 adults and 2 kids in the car, couldn't think of any better car to do it in. In fact hope to do it again this year.

I recently towed my car down to Silverstone from Glasgow and back and it was a bit of a pilgrimage, especially as there are speed restrictions whilst towing. Though whilst hubba snoozed I seemed to forget all about the restrictions. I would most definately have driven Kit had I not needed to travel in the dark(damn work)...lights not to great on these wee cars.
