got the 2 rear calipers rebuilt atfere finding that one piston on each was not moving the best , my friend larry was up and took them apart for me freed them up and got them working . he said get 2 caliper kits and i ll rebuild them , 2 kitts from euro £19 .36 and now rebuilt , and fitted new pads now for front and back , also got me new tyres fitted and balanced , tyres free all new firestones £20 to fitt tyres , thanks billy , i had 4 great tyres 2 matched 2 didnt , so billy had 4 new ones on rims for his beetle , he said take my 4 matching put them on your s , you repaint my rimms and put on your tyres on mine , haImage

I didn't think you cared :lol:

Your thread is very picture heavy, which is great but I think people may be less likely to reply to that than a thread with more talk.

Yes love the pics. Keep them coming.

Things are looking great and it's good to see how people go about their restoration. I've been watching this thread with great interest but haven't made many comments.

It's such a good story keep it up and I can't wait to see the finished thing.

Wish I had the time, money, skill or space to do my car!!

i can t afford the big money needed to do a concours resto , but what iam doing is all self taught , and i no its done right , owen nw thanks :shock:

It's getting brighter with each posting! Need plenty of these 8) 8) 8)

Any chance you could scale you pictures down a bit? They take an age to load and I can't fit them on the screen (maybe I need a bigger screen...) :) 800 pixels wide is about right to fit in the viewing window on here :)

i have tryed everything to do it was on photo bucket and tryed down sizing them but they come up like this , owen nw

Try this Owen...

Click on (more options) before uploading
Image



Then click on Large (640x480), and then click SAVE at the bottom.

This should solve the problem.

now have speedo cable fitted clutch cable fitted steering coupling, donut , steering wheel . gearbox . and more and back on it sfeet , and the roof da ed owen nw ,
