Love the leather on the 2nd from the left but I'd go for one of the larger diameter ones. You need to try them all though and see which feels right.

Darren the one that is on the plinth is stunning.

.....I purchased that one Graham as it was cheap and the 1978 production date matched my ficticious Mongrel build date.
I do like the simple design although plan is to only use it for track days when not wanting to 'risk' the pretty ones.....not that the wheels aren't man enough, just concerned that I might forget to let go if I stack the car and bend them!.....
....the car can be fixed but the wheels are potentially irreplaceable!

....I think you're bang on.
The plan was never to start a collection, just to find the perfect wheel for my car. I do find them intoxicating though.
The photo is a little deceptive dimensions wise......I think the 380mm Formula 1 is going to be too large for this car and expect I'll let this go although I would like to try it first. Both the Monza and Prototipo are 360's although the thinner gripped Monza is 356mm in reality whereas the Proto is 362mm and feels more substantial.......both feel wonderful in the hands, can't wait to try them in the car.
If only the Proto looked as delicious as the Monza now that would be heaven......guess I'll have to add my own patina with that one!
Cheers,

Thanks Tom

....that really made me chuckle!
It's actually a £60 'Chinese special' lightbox and background set off Ebay sat on my desk at home.......you should see the mess just out of shot!
I brought it under the pretence that I have a number of parts I need to sell and I'd do better with simple decent photos.....the truth is that I've really struggled to take decent photos on occasions and can never quite capture the light how I'd like it.
I wish I had the time and inclination to properly master the functions of my camera and understand what works best in different lighting situations....
....in fact, I wish I could take photos like you!

I said the 3rd from the left as 'everybody' has a prototipo or one with holes in, and that one is simply different.
I thought for years before this thread I had a Prototipo, but not so, and I can't find a picture of it on google though it is stamped MOMO

The one you like (3rd from left) is often referred to (but not always stamped as such) as a Prototipo S ...

....sorry Graham I'm afraid I have to disagree.....
This is my wheel. There are many like it, but this one is different, this one is mine.
My wheel is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I master my life. My wheel, without me, is useless. Without my wheel, I am useless.
I must steer my wheel true. I must drive smoother than any competition who is trying to beat me. I must overtake him before he overtakes me. I will...
My wheel and myself know that what counts in this race is not the laps we make, the noise of our exhaust, nor the smoke from our tyres. We know that it is the finishes that count. We will finish...
My wheel is human, even as I, because it is my life. Thus, I will learn it as a brother. I will learn its weakness, its strength, its feel, its feedback, its touch and its aim. I will keep my wheel clean and ready, even as I am clean and ready. We will become part of each other. We will.... Before God I swear this creed. My wheel and myself are the defenders of our honour. We are the masters of our competition. We are the saviors of my life. So be it, until victory is ours and there is no competition, but wins.
....there is no other like it!

.....

Cripes!
Run for cover!!
Of course what I mean is most fit a wheel with round holes in the spokes, '#3' is different to that generalisation.
This could be as bad as choosing a car colour!!

Oh, hang on - this wheel thing is the equivalent of my colour choice thing. Best let someone else decide...
