I started it up...............

For the first time since I started this journey, 8+ years ago, and a week of head scratching, plugs in plugs out, a long phone call to Fred Pentecost this morning, got a bit rude with it all and then, it just started!!!!!!!

Did a vid, which includes me apologising to the neighbours for the smoke, you can hear it misfiring and popping and banging, but it lives! How the heck do I post that?

No 1 daughter took me out for a curry to celebrate!

What a day. :bounce:

Stripped and lubricated my starter solenoid after a 1700 mile trip round Scotland having to lay under it with a hammer while the missus turned the key ('accidentally' in gear a couple of times too!!)
Starts beautifully now from the comfort of the drivers seat.

Ha! That's what I've got planned for Saturday - on the Sunday mine just started whirring instead of engaging.
Got to fit the new fuel pump as well.

Collected 100 bricks and 3 bags of sand to build a wall for my neighbour. Not the ideal builders wagon but nicely balanced with half in each boot!
