There's a company near me that make a nice rep of those - Gardner Douglas
Edit - ah no - it's just the spyder version - prefer the hard top
Just been on their site - brilliant video taken by an Italian caterham owner of a Caterham trying to keep up with the GDT70.

Re: my non-Porsche picture of the day
Yes - it's a great advert for the GD car - they are both whizzing past other cars no I don't think it's any sort of setup. The Caterham does catch up the GD car in the corners (as you'd expect) but not by enough to avoid being monstered on anything remotely straight

my non-Porsche picture of the day
They're awesome. If I were building a 908 rep it would go straight on a GD chassis. They even use a 996 GT2 gearbox so I could bolt a 996 Turbo motor straight up to give 550bhp and 800kg...
The body would be the expensive bit on the first car but after that I reckon you'd build them for 50k.
Not that I've thought about it much.

Actually Lola made T70 reps. Or at least FIA spec 'continuation' cars.sladey wrote:There's a company near me that make a nice rep of those - Gardner Douglas
