Can’t believe you’ve spoiled the big reveal!
Oh well. Maybe I’d better get on with the story....

Re: 1970 Bay (Outlaw-ish)
So. Where were we.... Underside sorted, now for the upper-side. I learned a lot from Darren when the Targa was painted. About the work that goes into surface prep, the importance of seam-sealing, epoxy primer, high-build primer and getting good layers of paint and the top coats, wet-sanding and flatting and final mop and polish. At least I think that's it, I'm a bit sketchy about the details to be frank...
So armed with these facts, I had a 'chat' with Steve at Johnson's, to make sure that he knew what I wanted and the standards I was hoping we could get to. He is so polite. I could tell he was listening to me and then basically, he very nicely thanked me for all the information that he already knew about, about practices they already used, because they are a quality outfit.
So that was me told
. I like to think I add value to these projects.....
Anyway.... that was the plan. Do all of those things, inside and out.

And then some top-coat.... lovely...

It's amazing how different it looks in whiter light though....

And that was my first view of what the Perl White L87 was going to look like. And it looks great.
