I'm not jealous at all, sat here at work seeing you lot still enjoying your weekend away.

Flew in to meet everyone in Zuffenhausen....great 36 hours. Started with bacon sandwiches and champagne @ 7am Sunday morning in the lounge at T5 w/ Jonathan P....

Then onwards...a casually parked 962...

The crew....

I think they call this "Qualitatswein"

And next day, after a short unscheduled stop for a member to 'purge' himself of said qualitatswein we had the ususal line-up photo and JP was trying to decide which car his shirt clashed most badly with....

And finally, I was rather taken by this....

But best of all was the fun, chat, banter, support, p!ss-taking (of brick-phones, slow re-build progress, la la la....)

And all of a sudden it was over. Brilliant. Thanks James & Brian. Thanks Mick (grannysmith) for letting me ride shotgun in your very nice Targa

Returned home just after 9 o'clock last night after 6 days on the road…..

…2,637 kilometres….

….346.97 litres of fuel…

….1,164 photographs (6 good ones!)….

…5 Countries….

…3 hotels…1 ferry…1 train….

…2 pints of larger….1 packet of crisps….

…and………………..one insurance claim!

…..

Nick was taking no chances on the final leg home!….

Spent an enjoyable last day's driving some fantastic roads with my humble 2.4E hanging on to the coat tails of a semi-pro racing driver, a beautiful genuine 2.7RS and a 996 GT3…

This is what happens when you go driving with Feroz!

An absolutely fantastic trip…a huge thanks to Brian at 1st Tickets, and an even bigger thanks to James for all his hard work, very much appreciated by all, you're a star!

Finally a massive thanks to all the DDK'ers on the trip…good company, a fantastic atmosphere, witty banter and some very talented driving

, thanks also for making Brian feel welcome…DDK tours just wouldn't be the same without you all and I look forward to catching up with everyone soon.

I'll post my 6 good photos later….
