like talking to Phil at Hagerty so much that i phoned him again today.

I added the 356a cab to the policy for under £90*

*very limited milage

For the moderns, if you have several ,which is highly likely for we enthusiasts, try Admiral multicar, it's the best I've found yet. Cheaper, for me, than Elephant, RAC and Hastings. I always do a price check each year, my moey is very dear to me!

Just switched all my policies to one provider - primo. They had a stand at the Top Gear Live/MPH event last October.

Anyway, 2005 passat estate, 2003 Fraud focus, 68 912, 62 splitty, all fully comp, all with commuting, full business use on the two moderns, plus agreed value on the two oldies, for.......£878. Me & The Boss to drive all 4.

The focus is a recent addition to allow the 912 to take a break over winter, and the other three seperately amounted to £845, so I switched & paid just £33 for the focus, and increased cover on the oldies.

Chuffed, very chuffed.

Another one for Hagerty! Very efficient and so easy to email pics and proposal form. Also agreed value by discussion, didn't need to have independent inspection at cost £?s so saved money. Don't need valuation cert as my previous Lancaster. Very painless all round.

, very knowledgeable about Classics and 911s. They will insure my 2.7 and my 2.2 for less than the renewal for the 2.7 that I just received from RH Specialist. So very near to going with Hagerty but concerned by Dirk's comment above re not being insured while one is working on it. Any comments on how the other insurers deal with this aspect

Is this common to all or what

just added my 914(parked on drive) on the policy for a little over £20

Just wanted to give Hagerty the thumbs up again

Phoned them to ask about multiple locations for keeping my car rather than just at home and they were brilliant.

Also had to tell them about my 6 points for speeding. No drama at all on both counts.

as a side note, I phoned aviva for my everyday car, was kept on hold for 15 -20 minutes, put through to a call centre, made to repeat everything twice.

same result but very different journey

Aviva , formerly Norwich Union . After a grossly disappointing experience following a disputed fault accident I would rather walk than ever insure with NU again

small Up-date.

had course to use the Hagerty Breakdown cover (included on my policy)this afternoon. when the 924 handbrake cable snapped/twisted/caught on something. nothing serious but i didn't want to risk doing further damage.

they had me and car home from central Derby within an hour. somewhat better than the 3 hours the AA managed from Nottingham one night.

I have just insured the 'Beast'

Hagerty are very nice folks indeed. Price was great also.

Only downer is my wife cannot be added to the policy as she is under 30. I don't know if thats a good or bad thing.
