just the interior to go in now , then it s for sale

spent to day stripping the rear suspension , to the bare metal , then coated it with finnigians rust treatment then zinc primer, the same with the bottom of the floors , but first ground down anu thing that needed tidied , i then sprayed the underside with good quality stone chipp paint and straightened out a kink on the front bumper , owen nw

to day i stripped all the brackets for the suspension to bare metal as well as the shocks , zinc primed them and painted them , all the suspension bolts nuts where cleaned and copper greased ready for fitting , painted the underside of the car in colour , now just have to paint the front axel up again

One word: MASK! You wear latex gloves to keep your hands clean, but fill your lungs with underseal! Tut, tut!

to day got the front end of the 912 suspension area in paint . and gave the engine bay another light coat as well, started going through the boxes to see what else could be done, so now i am going to stripp the brakes backing plates , and clean the front end suspension nuts bolts and grease them ready for fitting , owen nw

put in the rear suspension toda y and shocks , while colm stripped bits and pieces and tidied up , i now haveto replaced the handbrake shoes easier done on the car also made up the brake pipes that run from front to back and the 2 back ones owen nw

to day i pulled the pedal assembley out think feck i did , ihad some eserious surface rust under it , now descaled and eitch primed and zinked also smeared all nuts bolts with cooper grease ,, i then res tripped the front axel , the paint i used was crapp chassis black , so i redone it with 2k black big difference , will refitt it tomorrow , owen nw

finally got the front axel into the 912 , needed 3 people to do it , what a difference the lovely black 2k paint against the yellow , now have to finish of the brake pipes flexi s ect , got 4 brand new tyres for a good exchange my 4 very good none matching tyres and respray his rims silver instead of the white , great deal for me owen nw

took out the calipers last night to see what needed done to them , they where in perfect working order when i tookthe 912 of the road , checked and the pistons move freeley , so i started by making sure the bleed nipples moved and brake opened , which they did so it s a clean up to do , and painted the pedal assembley owen nw

cleaned up the front hubs , discs had been replaced new in america , stripped and cleaned all the parts , eitched -primed everything , then painted in 2 k black
