In an effort to cure bad fuel surge on sharp corners (ie, Sawbench and Martini at Wiscombe Park!), extended the float chamber vents to prevent fuel slopping out and flooding the carbs, and dropped float level from 10mm to 13/14mm on the recommendation of Ron Fleming, formerly of FAT Performance, who's probably built more Type 4 engines with IDFs for off-road racing than anyone...

Fitted my refurbished 16" wheels with (new tyres) back on and went to the Classic Hub Bibury for the first time, took this in a colourful spot on the way home, even if my photography is rubbish!

Felt like 2019 again 8) … great to see all the old cars out being ragged over 200 miles of the best roads England if not the U.K. have and great to see friends we’ve not seen for far too long.

Can’t wait to get some proper national Ddk events put in place
